PRODUCT HEAT SHRINK
Product Heat Shrink is a great way of packaging smaller items. It offersprofessional presentation, fast wrapping, and a tamper evident solution.
PVC Film:
- Lower cost option
- Traditional Product Heat Shrink Film, but being overtaken by the newer Polyolefin Films
- Greater environmental impact than Polyolefin
- Has a slight odour- should not be used for food packaging
- More brittle than Polyolefin (makes it easier to open, but not as strong)
Polyolefin Film:
- Better clarity than PVC
- Higher stretch levels, making it a stronger wrap compared to PVC
- Can typically use a thinner film for the same strength compared to PVC- allowing for longer rolls & reduced plastic wastage
- Suitable for food packaging
